About Our Company
Gillespie Residential Design was established in 1975 and to date over 500 of Dena's homes dot the landscape of San Diego County from Point Loma to Oceanside and Cardiff to Ramona. Each client and job site is unique. She approaches each design with a fresh palette, a special desire to hear the clients' needs, and an eagerness to make their dreams come true.
Gillespie Residential Design offers a complete scope of services:
- site planning
- construction documents
- review committee presentations and permit processing
- coordination of Landscape Designer, Interior Designer, and product choices
- organization of structural, civil, and mechanical engineering
Personal History and Qualifications:
- San Diego native since 1955
- San Diego State University graduate - 1967
- former high school teacher and administrator (1968 - 1975)
- owner of Gillespie Residential Design since 1976
- selected for "Who's Who in American Women" (1980's)
- winner of three national and state design awards (1990's)
- Tour D'Elegance - First Place Award (2001)
- Most prolific designer of individual custom homes in San Diego's prestigious North County communities (2001- 2007)
